Born in Turin in 2000, I am the youngest member (or larva) of the Pelagospherateam. I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences from theUniversity of Turin with a dissertation entitled “Alien Ecosystem Engineers: the Case of Mnemiopsis leidyi in Relation to the Mediterranean Climate Crisis”, focusing on this and other non-native species. Since spring 2024, I have been responsible for coordinating Pelagosphera’s educational activities since spring 2024, and in July 2024 I obtained my first scuba diving certification.
I am particularly passionate about marine turtles and hope one day to make them a central part of my professional career. For the time being, I contribute to the monitoring of nesting sites and hatchling emergence during the summer months. My first experience in this field was in 2020 in Alcamo Marina, Sicily, and I continued this work in 2024 along the Costa dei Gelsomini, Calabria.
