Will present project AUTOMA

AUTOMA is an innovative system for the automatic recognition and monitoring of alien marine species (NIS) and invasive alien species (IAS) in the Mediterranean. Using autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs), artificial intelligence and machine learning, AUTOMA collects and analyses biological and environmental data to study the spread of alien species and their impact on marine ecosystems. The project integrates scientific research, robotics and citizen science to improve biodiversity conservation and support environmental management strategies.
